Imagine that you have a dead fish tied around your neck. You cannot remove it. It stinks twenty-four hours a day.

Every serious writer hates the book he is writing.

It is bad enough that he has to smell it all day long, all night long, for years at a time.

It can be made worse by someone asking what the book is about or how it is coming along or how well the last one sold.

Do a writer a favor: donít inquire.

If he could answer your question in ten words, why would he be writing the book?

This website is a classic dead fish.
